Established in 2058 B.S. United College (UC) is centrally located at Kumaripati, Lalitpur. The college is established to offer courses in business studies, IT and humanities through a scientific and disciplined approach. The college affiliated with Tribhuvan University runs Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), and Master of Business Studies (MBS) in an unrivalled environment.
The college strives to equip students with the latest insight into the competitive world by making them more sensitive, sensible, and responsible. United College is not just a college in the literal sense, but rather a college in fact in that it embodies and uses all the necessary infrastructures both physical and academic to their fullest extent in order to enable the students to face all sorts of challenges and problems.

The vision of UC is to become the centre of excellence in teaching, learning, and research in Nepal.
Our Mission
The mission of UC is to create excellent human resources with intellectual, creative, technical, moral, and practical skills to serve the community, industry, and region. We do it by developing integrated, interactive, involved, and caring relationships among teachers, students, guardians, and employers.
Our Goals
To realize this mission and vision, the goals of UC are as follows:
- To provide state-of-the-art and standard education as preparation for higher studies or future employment in positions of responsibility across a worldwide range of Business, CIT. Social and Public Organizations.
- To make available internationally recognized education in Nepal and to develop our graduates up to international standards through getting accreditation from internationally recognized accreditation bodies.
- To use modern instructional techniques and technology to the best advantage to enhance and enrich students' achievements of their educational and career goals as well as the socio-economic development of the country.
- To establish joint degree programs with different renowned universities in the USA, UK, Canada, India, and Australia, to facilitate quality education and also to make foreign degrees available to the students while staying in Nepal at an affordable cost.
- To provide educational opportunities to persons already employed or engaged in business allowing them to pursue undergraduate and graduate programs without interrupting their careers and without any compromise on quality education.
- To create a congenial academic environment for the youth that is free from political and other disturbances for their intellectual advancement.
- To use information technology in all phases of academic as well as administrative aspects of the university program to ensure a free and transparent flow of information.
- To undertake such additional programs and activities as are essential to the achievement of the above-listed objectives.
