Course Overview
Study BCA in Lalitpur
BCA is the latest and updated IT-related course of 4 years [8 semesters] under the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences (FoHSS). BCA focuses on providing a platform for students to develop programming and networking skills and familiarizes them with the application package. The objective of the program is to produce high-quality computer applications for users and developers. This course contains multi-disciplinary aspects like computerized bookkeeping systems, different areas of computing, cyber-crime, computer networking, business communications, production design, marketing, E-mail and internet, programming, system design and analysis, database administrations, mobile technology, data web technology etc. After the completion of BCA, graduates are eligible to study in any faculty under Information Technology such as MCA, MIT and MBA.
Objectives
- To demonstrate professional competence in developing software and in the design and implementation of complex computer systems and information systems.
- Demonstrate a substantial understanding of concepts in key areas of computer applications.
- Carry out required analysis and synthesis involved in computer BCA 8 SEMESTERS systems, information systems, and computing applications
- Demonstrate sound practical skills to address problems, which arise from computing systems and applications

Eligibility
Students applying for admission to the given programs must have fulfilled the following criteria:
- Successfully completed twelve years of schooling or its equivalent from any university, board or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University.
- Minimum D+ grade in each subject of grade 11 and 12 with CGPA 2.0 or more or minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or equivalent in any discipline.
