Introduction
United College’s performance management system is to strive for excellence in teaching, research, student service, extension, counselling, as well as social service. Organizational structure, procedures, processes, and financial, non-financial, personnel and digital resources are all part of the quality management system.
Objectives
- A strategy for purposeful and persistent dynamic engagement must be developed to improve the college’s academic, instructional, research, extension, student support service, and managerial quality.
- To contribute to the institutionalization of quality initiatives and culture, to improve the college’s academic, research, and administrative performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement the University Grant Commission’s quality improvement and assurance benchmarks/parameters for the college’s diverse academic and administrative undertakings.
- Organize a dissemination program regarding quality assurance indicators, parameters, and initiatives through seminars, orientation, and training.
- Enable establishing and maintaining the college’s database using EMIS to maintain/improve creditworthiness.
- Facilitate the implementation of a faculty skill development program.
- To effectively deliver quality improvement programs, establish internal and external coordination.
- Contribute to the absorption of quality culture and the Implementation of best practices.
- Organize procedure benchmarking, performance measurement, and strategic benchmarking training, seminars, and orientation for students, lecturers, and staff.
- Works as a modal mechanism for the quality improvement process and initiative.
- Perform academic audit and publish its report.
- Carry out activities to enable the Quality Assurance and Accreditation process to run smoothly.
- Prepare Gap Analysis Report and Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR).
