In a testament to their dedication to community service, the Leo members of United College, affiliated with the Leo Club of Kathmandu, Sadbhavana, played a significant role in a Hunger Relief Program on July 1st, 2023. The program was orchestrated in collaboration with Manav Kalyan Samaj, a prominent social organization, and unfolded in Jhaukhel, Bhaktapur.

The program commenced at 9:45 am with an insightful seminar led by the hosting organization. Despite spatial limitations, a focused team of PVST members, comprising President Leo Saahin Maharjan, Vice President Leo Jasmati Gurung, Joint Secretary Leo Priyanka Joshi, Secretary Leo Lasata Bajracharya, Treasurer Leo Asmita Shrestha, and Leo Samir Shrestha, represented the Leo Club of Sadbhavana with unwavering participation. Simultaneously, fellow Leo team members adeptly managed various logistical aspects, ensured order, and followed prescribed guidelines to guarantee the program's success. Despite inclement weather, the group managed to explore noteworthy sites in Bhaktapur, including Siddha Pokhari and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Around 11:00 am, the assembly transitioned to a local restaurant, where discussions revolved around strategies to sustain the Leo Club's growth. Members introduced themselves, fostering an environment of camaraderie, and laid the foundation for establishing governing boards within the Leo Club of Sadbhavana. These boards are intended to oversee initiatives aligned with the club's core objectives, encompassing fundraising for the underprivileged and raising awareness among diverse segments of society. The program concluded at 1:45 pm, and participants returned to the UA/UC premises by approximately 2:30 pm.

In conclusion, the Leo members of United College, driven by their commitment to community service, made a meaningful impact through their participation in the Hunger Relief Program.
