witnessed the convergence of academia, industry expertise, and a passion for learning, as participants showcased their skills, insights, and business acumen.

The Panel of Judges: Industry Titans

The presentation was graced by a distinguished panel of judges, Mr Sanjeev Ghimire, Chief Operating Officer of Beta Analytics, and Mr Roshan Aryal, Agriculture Head at Sanima Bank. Their esteemed presence and expertise brought invaluable insights to the event, providing students with a real-world perspective on the topics at hand.

The presentation served as a platform to achieve multiple objectives, emphasizing the holistic growth and development of the students:

A Glimpse into the Presentation

The day commenced with a series of insightful seminars, each focused on diverse aspects of banking and entrepreneurship. Students exhibited their prowess on topics such as banking evaluation, KYC for AML and CFT, remittance vs. Hundi, loan analysis, and types of bank accounts. The presentations were a testament to the students' grasp of these complex subjects and their ability to communicate effectively.

The heart of the event lay in the vibrant business plan presentations, where groups of students showcased their entrepreneurial vision. Three distinct business sectors took the spotlight: "Theki" (Lassi) business plan, event management, and digital marketing. These presentations demonstrated a fusion of creativity, strategic thinking, and practical application of business concepts.


Participants and Winners

The presentation competition, entitled "Presentation on Banking and Entrepreneurship," saw the enthusiastic participation of 41 students from the BBM 5th Semester. Among them, 18 students specialized in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (EED), while 23 students focused on Bank Operations and Cooperative Management (BNK).

The winners emerged from the Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (EED) specialization group. Out of the 18 participants, the victorious team crafted an exceptional business plan for Digital Marketing. The esteemed panel of judges, Mr. Sanjeev Ghimire and Mr. Roshan Aryal, acknowledged this group's compelling, innovative, and feasible approach.


The meticulously planned program itinerary unfolded as follows:

Departing from United College, Kumaripati, Lalitpur, at 7:30 A.M., participants arrived at Balthali Village Resort by 9:00 A.M. A refreshing tea break from 9:00 to 9:20 A.M. invigorated everyone for the proceedings. The event officially commenced at 9:30 A.M. with greetings, seatings, and an opening ceremony, including the national anthem and a warm welcome speech. From 9:45 A.M. to 12:15 P.M., engaging presentations and Q&A sessions took place on topics such as banking evaluation, KYC for AML and CFT, remittance vs. Hundi, loan analysis, types of bank accounts, and business plans for "Theki" (Lassi), event management, and digital marketing. The announcement of winners and the distribution of certificates and medals followed from 12:20 to 12:30 P.M., setting the stage for a delightful lunch at 12:35 P.M. Music, dance, and photo sessions from 1:20 to 4:00 P.M. added an element of celebration, while snacks at 4:00 P.M. provided a brief respite before departing from Balthali Village Resort at 4:30 P.M.

The event's success was a testament to United College's commitment to holistic education, where theoretical knowledge seamlessly intertwines with practical application. The BBM students' presentation not only showcased their proficiency but also highlighted the institution's role in nurturing confident, skilled, and innovative future business leaders.
