You can read more on the course page "BCA program".

BA for students who like people and ideas

BA covers subjects like literature, history and sociology. You read a lot, write a lot and learn how to think clearly. After BA, many students go on to a master degree, teaching or law. The BA program page lists the subjects and eligibility.

Requirements for Bachelor Admission

In short, you need a +2 result or equal, and BBM and BCA also ask for an entrance exam. The rules below follow the TU notices for the 2026 intake (2083/084). Check the latest notice before you apply.

For BBM, you need to pass CMAT, which stands for Central Management Admission Test. The TU Faculty of Management runs it. To apply, you need grade D in theory and grade C in practical in each subject of Grade 11 and 12. Your CGPA must be 1.8 or more. You can also apply with second division marks in +2 from any stream.

For BCA, you sit the entrance exam of the TU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. If you passed Grade 12 from 2079 BS onwards, you need grade D in each subject of Grade 11 and 12. Your CGPA must be 1.8 or more. Second division marks also work. If you passed before 2079 BS, the bar is a little higher. You need grade D plus in each subject with a CGPA of 2.0 or more, or second division marks.

BBS+ and BA are different because they don't use CMAT. The college looks at your past results and holds an interview.

Form dates change every year, and TU publishes a fresh notice each season. So keep an eye on the admissions page for the current one.

Can you get a scholarship at United College?

United College gives scholarships based on exam results, financial need and TU rules. It's worth asking about them when you apply. Here is how it works once you study there. Students who come first, second and third in the final exam get a tuition fee waiver. The waiver is 100%, 75% and 50%. At admission, your +2 GPA also counts, whether you studied at United Academy or another college.

TU adds another layer. From the 2083/084 session, TU wants colleges to keep 10% of approved seats for full scholarships. For a BBM section of 44 students, that means 4 seats. Three are reserved and one is on merit. However, a scholarship can stop if you fail an exam or break college rules.

They are extras, so ask the admissions team which ones fit your program.

How to choose the right program?

Think about what you enjoy on a normal day. Do you like numbers and business? Look at BBS+. Do you enjoy leading people? BBM may suit you. Do you spend hours on computers? Try BCA. Do you love reading and ideas? BA is a good match.
