Scholarships & ++ Awards

United College (UC) is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU). It offers ample scholarships to bright and deserving students, including Ethnic, Dalit & Janajati (EDJ) according to TU Scholarship rules and regulations. Some scholarships are based on academic results as well. Some others are for students who need financial support.

Scholarships are open to students in all our Bachelor's and Master's programmes. The College keeps 5% of its yearly budget for scholarships. In 2 of the most recent academic years, 97 students received a scholarship at United College.

UC SCHOLARSHIPS OFFER

For many years, UC has helped deserving and needy students continue their studies. UC believes that lack of money should not stop a brilliant student from getting a degree.

So our scholarship programme has a few clear aims:

  • to make higher education possible for students from EDJ society.
  • to help talented students from poor families complete their degree.
  • to reward students who work hard and do well in exams.
  • to select students in a fair and unbiased manner.

With a scholarship, you can focus on your studies instead of fees. You can finish your Bachelor's degree and then move on to a Master's degree.
