Extracurricular Activities at United College
At United College, learning does not stop when class ends. Our extracurricular activities (ECA) give every student a place to play, perform, serve, and lead. You can join a sports team, go on stage at Talent Hunt, plant trees with the Nature Nurture team, or give a speech at a Toastmasters meeting.
Students from BBS, BBM, BCA, BA, and MBS all take part. So whatever you study, there is a club and an event for you.

Importance of ECA inside College
A degree shows what you know. ECA shows what you can do with it. When you plan an event, lead a team, or speak in front of a crowd, you build skills that no exam can test.
Employers in Nepal ask about these skills in almost every interview. That is why we treat ECA as a real part of college life, not an extra.
Confidence
You learn to speak up, present ideas, and handle a stage.
Teamwork
Career edge
Sports and games
Sports are a big part of student life here. Our Sports Club runs games all year, and the biggest one is the Annual Sports Week in Poush. Students form teams and compete over several days. Then, in Magh, we hold a Sports Award Distribution Day to honour the winners.
You can play:
- Basketball
- Futsal and football
- Volleyball
- Badminton
- Table tennis
- Chess
We also run a Sports Quiz for students who love the game off the field. And if you want to play at a higher level, the college gives special support to students who take part in outside tournaments.
Culture and celebrations
Our Cultural Club keeps the campus busy with events that bring everyone together. Some of them are fun, some are emotional, and all of them are made by students.
