Which Programs Need This Exam

You need a valid CMAT score for these programs: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Information Technology Management (BITM), Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM), Bachelor of Business Administration Finance (BBA-F), and Bachelor of Mountaineering Studies (BMS).

Why the Verification Step Matters

A lot of students fill the form online and think they are done. But that is only half the job. You still have to visit your chosen campus and get your application verified before 11:00 AM on October 2. Miss that step, and your form does not count, no matter how early you submitted it.

Who Can Apply for This Exam

The eligibility rules have not changed from the first notice. You qualify under either of these two paths.

If You Are Under the New Grading System

You need at least grade D in theory and grade C in practical for every subject, with a combined CGPA of 1.8 or higher across grade 11 and grade 12.

If You Are Under the Old Division System

A second division score in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent qualification works too, and this applies no matter which stream or discipline you studied.

How to Apply and Where to Take the Exam

The process is fully online at first, then it needs one physical visit. Here is how it works.

First, pick the campus or college where you actually want to study. Then choose your preferred test center from the seven centers listed by the Faculty of Management. Fill in your details carefully on the FoM website, because small mistakes can cause delays later.

Then comes the fee. There is an application fee of Rs 1,000 that you will need to remit using Connect IPS to the account of the Management Dean's Office. The account number is 0450010009066000001, which is maintained by Nepal Bank Limited, Kirtipur Branch.

Once you pay, submit the form online. After that, walk into your chosen campus and get the form verified in person. Do this before 11:00 AM on October 2, and you are set.
